SE Recycling Helps Client Generate Donation for Wood Street Mission Through Sustainable IT Recycling
SE Recycling has helped one of its clients generate a £142.59 donation for Wood Street Mission through its sustainable IT collections initiative, with the funding raised through the responsible collection and recycling of redundant IT and electronic equipment. The initiative enables organisations to transform unwanted IT assets into meaningful charitable contributions whilst supporting environmentally compliant recycling and the circular economy.
Alongside its specialist services, the client also works with SE Recycling to responsibly manage redundant IT and electronic equipment through environmentally compliant recycling processes. SE Recycling’s sustainable IT collections initiative was developed to help organisations reduce electronic waste, divert unwanted equipment from landfill, and support the circular economy, while simultaneously generating funding for charities and non-profit organisations through sustainable IT recycling.
Wood Street Mission is a Manchester-based children’s charity that has been supporting families living on low incomes since 1869. The organisation provides practical support to children and families throughout Manchester and Salford, including free school uniform, books, toys, childhood experiences, baby equipment, and essential everyday items to help reduce the impact of poverty on young people.
