Our Work with Charities

We care about the community and the support charities offer to them.  Our ambition in creating a sustainable future for all ensures that we can support charities through the collection of ICT equipment and giving back to society.  In the past few weeks we have been delighted to offer both Claire House and Z-Arts funds to support their work in the community.

As a result of collection of unwanted ICT from Carden Park Hotel we were able to donate funds to Claire House, their chosen charity, a children’s hospice based in Wirral and Liverpool to help them in their bid to support seriously and terminally ill children and their families.  We are now developing other initiatives with Claire House in a bid to ensure a sustainable fundraising stream for the work they do.

In addition, through our connections with BASF, we were able to collect their unwanted ICT equipment and once again offer a rebate.  Their charity of choice was Z-Arts.  Z-Arts, based in Manchester, is a venue for children, families, and friends.  Their mission is to inspire and help young people across Greater Manchester to access activities otherwise unavailable to them.  They run numerous weekly participatory classes in all art forms for children aged 0-13 and their families.  They also have a theatre offering low cost access to arts productions, a gallery, music room, a dance studio and activity rooms.  The money received from SER has been put towards the continued support of the successful Lego Club.
